- You may be on the wrong track blaming it on your sound system. I am
- having a similar problem with my ppp connection in win95. Sometimes I
- can go for an hour or two, and sometimes I can't even check my e-mail,
- but every time I try to use win95's internet package my system just
- stops. No matter what I try to do, my modem sends no signals to the
- net. I have gone through my setup with my provider several times, and
- everything is setup right. I use the same hardware under os/2 with no
- problem. My system is an IBM PS/1 Consultant 486sx33 running a
- Pentium Overdrive 83Mhz, 20 meg ram, zoom v34i 28.8 internal modem on
- com1. The zoom tech rep suggested an irq conflict, but win95 reports
- no conflicts.
